Office of Academic Affairs

The Office manages academic affairs meetings, recruitment, registration, curriculum affairs, teaching materials, student records, performance, skills test, and other academic affairs, and establishes the course structure and syllabus of the school to guide students to acquire certificates and advance their professional abilities by integrating professional courses with holistic, practical education applicable to both military personnel and civilians for subsequent career planning and the development of quality, healthy non-commissioned officers with good conduct, clear thinking, and leadership skills.

Duties

Lieutenant Colonel Deputy Director

Follow the policies of the Director to plan, guide, and control all works of the planning section. Hold weekly section meetings, review and control of work, maintain confidentiality and assist staff in their duties.

Major Operations Officer

Responsible for national defense revision and brigade 1,2 command offices, war room preparation and operations (including night shift), material (Hanguang) drills (including assessments and tests), guard post service supervision and operation, disaster rescue (including level 1, 2 emergency response centers), overall camp safety protection drill supervision, annual combat budget preparation and expenditure allocation, high-ranking duties, combat information, patrol shifts, preparation for school affairs presentations for visitors, school celebration planning and implementation, wargaming room space planning, and temporary assignments.   

Major Mobilization Officer

Mobilization related affairs, Wanan drills, military education, combat packs and folder management, supervision of various operations (including headquarters supervision meetings), officer corps education, and risk management.

Major Planning Officer

Calendar planning and revisions, campus reconstruction tender outlines, master work and work breakdown by year, compilation related affairs (including duties), periodical video conferences for the planning division, training fees and annual budget preparation and distribution control, professional assessments and performance control, preliminary leading sergeant retraining, annual major works control, and training room space planning and management.    

Captain Training Officer A

Planning and control of troop guidance programs and master sergeant regular classes plans, transcript reports and opening and closing ceremony control, summer military training, force training related affairs and training safety supervision, annual training reviews (including training plan), lectures, training flow for each squad, training oil, training bullets, and shooting range control, and orientation for enlisted soldiers.

Captain Training Officer B

Annual education administrative budget control, annual investment budget control, five-year governance plan revision, revision of work breakdown by year, summary of military investment, and fitness test related affairs.

Captain Signal Officer

Communication equipment maintenance, all communication and confidentiality affairs, police surveillance system maintenance, combat communication related affairs, instructor of various squad communication courses, communication standard testimonials, and communication (including police captain) training control.   

Captain Intelligence Officer

Intelligence preparation and supervision affairs, submission and review affairs, arms sales related affairs, annual intelligence budget control, hostile archives establishment and management, English reserve (training) class program related operations and performance reports, plan for improving English proficiency of students in military academies (ALCPT test), planning team, warehouse planning and management, battalion, company officers and superintendent planning, transcript management and opening and closing ceremony control, and affairs relation to military book guidelines.       

Major Training Officer

Annual enrollment affairs, school affairs development, summary of staff and administrative meetings information.

Major Training Officer C

Revision of student rules and handbooks, classes and unit selection for graduates, annual teacher selection, opening ceremony, closing ceremony activity planning, college graduation ceremony activity planning, military education advancement review meetings, space planning, and management of education areas.

Master Sergeant Trainer

Review of part-time instructors, hourly pay distribution, control, reports and reviews, supplementary NHI premium withholding of part-time teachers, voluntary service officer, sergeant, and soldier certificate training, registration and tests of immediate skills and assessments, registration and tests of the national technician skills test, educational facilities maintenance in education areas, and student education journal review.

Grade Four Education Personnel

Annual education timetable arrangement and schedule control (classes arrangement), teaching venue change applications, and teacher transfer and substitution control, student re-sits, class arrangements, and personnel management, courses planning, member meetings, two-year college education plan preparation and revision, and entering basic data in the information database.

Contracted Level 2 Clerk

Court order management and household transcript applications, withdrawal reparation management (including reparation of graduates for failure to take up full service), payment in installments, reparation collection, application for certificates of obligatory claims and escrow treasury, debtor property investigations, mandatory salary deduction management, seizure of property and land, newspaper publication and foreclosure operations, telephone bill reimbursements, and accounting ledger management.

Contracted Level 2 Data Administrator A

Student record management, graduation (attendance) certificate inquiries and reissuances, college and training classes performance submission and reports, submission of attendance statistics and education degrees to the HR division, school (training) withdrawal personnel control, and private and military service units inquiry services.

Contracted Level 2 Data Administrator B

Military map management, education, and administrative stationery, papers, ink cassettes, notebook procurement, copy machines, speed printing machines, cartridge procurement, control and distribution, state-owned property inventory and reconciliation, and accounting management and application (including information devices).   

Contracted Level 2 File Administrator

Student transcript summaries, management and issuance, mid-term and final exam control, performance reward operation (honorary certificates), study alert control (stay for study, counselling etc.), and class arrangements.

Contracted Level 2 Clerk A

Student ID production, tabulation management, returns and destruction, education meeting affairs, superintendent businesses, printing center operation supervision, and rental copy machine management and reimbursement.

Contracted Level 2 Clerk B

National skills tests designated by the Central Office of Labor Affairs Bureau, various academic and skills test venue assessments, various monitoring and training activities, and skills test certificate application operations.
