Warrior Summit

Creation Idea

Throughout the army's history, non-commissioned officers have made outstanding achievements. They are loyal to the country, serve the military wholeheartedly, and shoulder the heavy responsibility of being a "mentor to soldiers, assistants to officers, and the backbone of troops". First Sergeant and First Master Sergeant of the Chief of General Staff Han, Cheng-Hong has worked extremely hard for the country throughout his life and was committed to the promotion and quality of the non-commissioned officer system.     Sergeant Chief Chen, Chi-Jung, Sergeant of the 99th Marine Brigade did not hesitate to put his fellow officers first, exert his great benevolence, and passion to sacrificing his life at sudden critical moments. They are all revered examples of soldiers. To recognize the warrior spirit and outstanding contribution of non-commissioned officers, the "warrior summit" statue has been especially erected to honor the steps of former soldiers and encourage others to follow the glory of the warrior.  

The statue is centered on the hierarchy of non-commissioned officers, and represents the responsibilities that increase gradually along with the hierarchy. The base is modeled after Chengkong Lake and the profile of Master Sergeant Han gazing into the distance is carved on the top like the warrior spirit, "nobody but me, I'm not afraid of hardship and difficulty, I always stand at the forefront of national defense, and protect the people".  Non-commissioned officers start from the level of Master Sergeant Han and gradually move to the 365cm mark, indicating first chief sergeant. It also symbolizes that non-commissioned officers fulfill their duties and missions unceasingly in every post and encourage future generations to inherit leadership and daring to take responsibilities.
