Teaching Facilities

Vehicle Engineering Hall Facilities:
The Vehicle Engineering Hall houses five teaching laboratories, seven practical workshops, and a multimedia professional classroom. These facilities support specialized courses and practical training. Each laboratory and workshop is managed and maintained by designated faculty members. Instructors guide students to adhere to usage and management regulations, ensure proper use of facilities and equipment, and record equipment usage during classes, providing references for tracking and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Chassis and Comprehensive Practice Workshop:
Located on the first floor of the Vehicle Engineering Hall, this workshop serves as a certified testing site for the Automobile Maintenance Class C certification. It trains students in basic automotive chassis knowledge, instills safe and hygienic work habits, and equips them with skills for full-vehicle and chassis maintenance, as well as comprehensive chassis disassembly and inspection operations. Certification preparation for related technical licenses is also provided.

Gasoline Engine, Electrical Systems, and Transmission Practice Workshops:
Located on the second floor of the Vehicle Engineering Hall, these workshops focus on various aspects:

  • Gasoline Engine Practice Workshop: Provides foundational knowledge of gasoline engines and develops students' diagnostic and repair skills.
  • Automotive Electrical Systems Practice Workshop: Trains students in basic automotive electrical systems, enabling them to perform maintenance, inspection, disassembly, and repair of these systems.
  • Automatic Transmission Practice Workshop: Familiarizes students with the functions and purposes of automatic transmissions, their working principles, testing, and safety protocols. Students learn to disassemble and maintain transmissions and prepare for related technical certifications.

Mechatronics, Electronics, and Hydraulic/Pneumatic Laboratories:

  • Mechatronics Laboratory: Develops students' understanding of mechatronics principles, basic concepts, equipment operation, and integrated design capabilities.
  • Electronics Laboratory: Enhances knowledge in electricity and digital logic, focusing on the basic principles of electronic components, circuit practice, and the use of electronic instruments.
  • Hydraulics Laboratory: Supports teaching and student projects, focusing on hydraulic equipment principles and proper operation. Students gain skills in hydraulic/electric circuit design and operation, incorporating Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).

Welding, Bodywork, and Metallography Laboratories:

  • Welding Practice Workshop: Teaches fundamental welding principles, safety practices, equipment maintenance, and welding techniques.
  • Bodywork and Painting Workshop: Trains students in automotive painting equipment operation and maintenance, as well as bodywork and painting skills, enabling them to complete full-vehicle painting tasks.
  • Metallography Laboratory: Provides knowledge of metallographic microscope structures and operation, sample preparation, hardness testing of automotive components, and defect identification and analysis.
